Mistakes and misuse

Automated takedown bots sometimes flag original photography as stock; include a contact phone number so we can resolve those cases in hours, not weeks. Parties who file false claims to silence reviews face perjury exposure under federal law, and we refer egregious cases to counsel. Honest mistakes get a correction and an apology, never a strike.

What happens next

We review notices within 3 business days. Valid claims lead to immediate take-down while we investigate; frivolous or mistaken claims are rejected with an explanation. Repeat infringers lose comment and submission privileges permanently.

Counter notices

Believe material was removed in error? Reply with your name, address, consent to local jurisdiction, and agreement to accept service. We restore content within 10 business days unless the complainant files court action. Abuse of counter notices ends accounts.
